City of Virginia Beach Launches Refreshed Property Search Tool

​Easily search and receive information on more than 160,000 properties in Virginia Beach with the refreshed Virginia Beach Property Search. The launch of this updated web-based application provides a better user experience featuring easy search functionality, intuitive design and is also mobile friendly.

Get real estate data for every residential, commercial, agricultural and tax-exempt property, including detailed sales history, year-by-year assessments, tax rates and annual taxes, year built, square footage of land and buildings, total number of rooms, internal and external features, schematics, aerial images, zoning, flood and noise zones and a downloadable plat.

"Data integrity is so important, and the property search tool delivers the most accurate information to the user from a variety of sources independently, which saves them time," said City Real Estate Assessor Sue Cunningham. "Anyone looking for city property information, from residents and businesses to realtors and appraisers, can quickly find it one easy-to-use resource."

Virginia Beach Property Search also shows municipal services such as voting location and districts for the City Council and state legislature, trash collection days, police precinct and schools. Find the new application online at propertysearch.virginiabeach.gov.
