- Aquarium and Campground Shuttle - Route 31 transports passengers from the Rudee Loop to the Virginia Aquarium, campgrounds, and parks located along General Booth Boulevard with service running about every 20 minutes.
- Bayfront Shuttle - Route 35 connects the Bayfront to the Oceanfront from Shore Drive down to the Rudee Loop and makes stops along the way at First Landing State Park and the North End with service about every 60 minutes.

On-Demand Microtransit Service
OnDemand microtransit is a ridesharing service operating in a 15-square-mile zone in northwest Virginia Beach. This is not a door-to-door service, but it will carry riders who are not located near an existing transit line to a stop that will allow them to access the fixed route system.
Like HRT’s other modes of transit, fares are just $2 per person per ride, and kids under 17 ride free with a paying adult. Free fares are offered for qualified paratransit riders and Student Freedom Pass holders, though anyone riding with them must pay the fare.
Customers may book rides on the HRT OnDemand mobile app (available in the App Store and on Google Play) or by calling 757-859-8294.
This is HRT’s second pilot of the service and will be available through September 2025, after which it will be re-evaluated.
