Know Your Hazards

​The Hazard Mitigation Plan was approved by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency and adopted by City Council. With it, the City of Virginia Beach is eligible for future available mitigation opportunities to implement pre-disaster and post-disaster projects.
