Sign up for the Beach Report, a text alert service that will help you plan your next beach day! Provided by Virginia Beach Emergency Communications & Citizen Services, residents and visitors can opt-in to receive status updates on beach conditions.

The Beach Report will notify you of the following types of conditions:

• Red flags due to rough surf
• Red flags due to rip currents
• Beach closures due to water quality concerns
• Beach closures due to electrical storms
