As part the City of Virginia Beach Department of Public Utilities’ Aging Infrastructure Program, the department is replacing the sanitary sewer pump station located at 3334 Bow Creek Boulevard. The pump station, built in 1961, has reached the end of its useful life and has experienced ongoing capacity issues. A new pump station will be constructed at 3336 Bow Creek Boulevard, where there is room for a larger pump station and improved site access. Once completed, the expected service life of the pump station is at least 60 years. Approximately 2,600 feet of sanitary sewer main along Bow Creek Boulevard will also be replaced as part of this project.

Citizens are welcome to join the meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30. The meeting will be held at Bow Creek Recreation Center at 3427 Club House Road.
