New restricted parking times for the City’s Residential Parking Permit Program (RPPP) will take effect July 1. The restricted parking time was from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. On July 1, an active parking permit is required to legally park in Resort Area residential streets between 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

This means Parking Enforcement will issue any vehicle without an active residential parking permit a $70 parking citation during the new restricted hours. View the Residential Parking Permit (RPP) Areas Map of the restricted parking areas.

City Council approved the amended restriction times for the RPPP in June 2022. City staff will begin changing signs that reflect the new times starting Friday, June 30, and anticipates finishing Saturday afternoon, July 1.

Please note, Holiday Parking Restrictions for July 4th Weekend will go into effect for the areas that require a residential parking permit starting at 6 p.m. on July 2 through 6 a.m. on July 6. Holiday parking restrictions include 24 hours a day restricted parking. To legally park in RPP areas, vehicles must display a residential parking decal or pass.
