Wanted for Homicide

​VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – On March 24, 2022, Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) officers were dispatched to assist the Virginia Beach Fire Department in the 5500 block of Baccalaureate Drive for a house fire with a deceased subject inside. The victim has been identified as Czavi'er Hill, F/31, of Virginia Beach. It has been determined Hill died from a gunshot wound.

On March 25, 2022, VBPD officers were called to check on the welfare of a resident in a home in the 700 block of Linda Court. Officers located Clifton Baxter, M/73, deceased from a gunshot wound.

VBPD Homicide Detectives have obtained warrants for Cola W. Beale, M/30, of Virginia Beach for two counts of 2nd Degree Murder and one count of Arson. Additional charges may be pending.
