Virginia Beach Public Library’s Oceanfront Branch Closed April 28 & 29; Most Branches Closed May 4 for Staff In-Service Day

Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL)'s Oceanfront branch will be closed Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29, during the Something in the Water Festival. Staff members will be providing "pop-up" mobile library services around the oceanfront during the festival, and all other VBPL locations will be open during the weekend according to regular operating hours. The Oceanfront Area Library will reopen as usual on Monday, May 1 at 10 a.m.

On Thursday, May 4, all VBPL locations, except for the Joint-Use Library on the Virginia Beach Campus of Tidewater Community College, will be closed for a VBPL staff in-service day. All branches will open for regular operating hours on Friday, May 5.

Customers may visit VBPL's digital library anytime, 24/7, to check out e-books and digital audiobooks, movies, comics, music and more, as well as to access research tools for school and work.
