Virginia Beach Man Arrested for Distribution of Child Pornography

​VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, February 3, 2023 – On January 31, 2023, members of the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) Special Investigations Bureau (SIB) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI-Norfolk), with the assistance of SWAT, executed a search warrant in the 5000 block of Trumpet Vine Court after receiving various reports of a local computer network distributing files of child pornography. The suspect at the location was identified as Forrest Burrell III, (M/24) of Virginia Beach.

Burrell was arrested on ten counts of Distribution of Child Pornography, with additional charges pending a digital forensic examination of the evidence seized. He is currently being held on no bond.
