Virginia Beach Fire Academy #11 Graduation

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 3, 2023) The Virginia Beach Fire Department is pleased to announce that it will host the graduation ceremony for Virginia Beach Fire Academy Recruit Class #11, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the Harry E. Diezel Fire Training Center, Bennett Hall, 927 S. Birdneck Road at 11:00 a.m.

• This Certified Academy was seven weeks long*.
• Five "Certified" graduates will be assigned their duty station following graduation.
• The graduation ceremony will be streamed live on Facebook.

* Certified candidates are former firefighters who are required to complete all stages of the hiring process but would only have to attend a mini academy instead of the full six-month recruit academy.
