VBPD Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash on General Booth Boulevard
On Aug. 25, 2024 at approximately 8:44 p.m., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the 700 block of General Booth Blvd. for a motorcycle accident.
The driver of the motorcycle, Christopher Wright (M/42) of Virginia Beach, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates this was a single-vehicle crash.
