VBPD Arrest Serial Robber

The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) has arrested Kea Rodrigues (M/27) of Portland, Oregon for robbing two different businesses in Virginia Beach between September 2 – 4, 2023

The first robbery occurred on September 2, 2023, around 9:40 P.M. at a 7-Eleven. Approximately twenty minutes later, at 10:00 P.M., Rodrigues then robbed a BP Gas Station. Two days later, on September 4, 2023, at 8:55 A.M., Rodrigues went back to the same BP Gas Station and robbed it.

Shortly after the third robbery, VBPD officers located Rodrigues and arrested him with no incident.

During the robberies, Rodrigues gestured that he had a firearm, and demanded, and obtained money from the businesses.

Rodrigues is being charged with three counts of Robbery, three counts of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotics.
