Utility Work to Impact Laskin Road Next Week

Scheduled utility work related to the Laskin Road/VDOT roadway improvements will require a temporary lane closure and water line shutdown beginning at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. While the work takes place, the Laskin Road westbound left turn lane at the First Colonial Road intersection will be closed. Water will remain available, but residents and businesses on Laskin Road east of First Colonial Road to the oceanfront may experience fluctuations in water pressure during the work. Weather permitting, this work is expected to be completed by 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 20. Advanced warning signs will be in place to advise motorists of the lane closure.
