Three Arrested After Citizen Robbed
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – On Aug. 24, 2022, at approximately 6:55 p.m., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) were dispatched to the 3600 block of Chase Court for the report of a robbery.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was sitting in his vehicle, in the driveway of his residence, when he was approached and assaulted by several armed individuals. The suspects took property from the victim and fled the area.
VBPD Crime Suppression Squad (CSS) officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle a short time later, taking three individuals into custody without incident.
The suspects were identified as Lashun Bradshaw, (M/20) of Virginia Beach, Kareem Best, (M/21) of Virginia Beach, and Javon Almeyda, (M/23) of Virginia Beach. Each suspect was arrested and charged with Robbery, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.
