Temporary Road Closure Scheduled for Presidential Boulevard

Due to storm drain improvements, Virginia Beach Public Works will temporarily close Presidential Boulevard from Kings Point Road to Starlighter Drive starting Monday, July 17. All work is weather permitting and is scheduled to be completed in October.

Additionally, Silina Drive is closed to thru traffic. Residents should alter their driving patterns to minimize impacts on the construction area and utilize the detours to maximize the Contractor’s efforts to complete the work.

Every effort will be made to keep any inconveniences to a minimum during this time. Access to homes and businesses located on the closed section of this street will be maintained at all times. There will be no interruption or delay in emergency services/postal deliveries/waste collection throughout this project.
