Temporary Road Closure on Sandpiper Road Begins April 10

Due to construction for a drainage project by Virginia Beach Public Works Operations, a temporary road closure for areas of Sandpiper Road in Sandbridge will begin Monday, April 10. The work will take place at 3265 Sandpiper Road and 3317 Sandpiper Road.

Work will occur daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be no overlap between the two sites; one site will be finished before the next one is started. Traffic detour signs will be placed to provide guidance to your destination. The project is expected to be completed by April 17. All scheduled work is weather permitting.
