Temporary Road Closure of Cypress Avenue and 18th Street Begins Nov. 27

Beginning Monday, Nov. 27, the intersection of Cypress Avenue and 18^th Street will be closed for an emergency repair of a sewer main.

During this time, Cypress Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 18^th Street and Virginia Beach Boulevard. Detours will be set to reroute traffic to adjacent streets until work is complete and will reopen immediately upon completion. Advanced warning signs are posted advising motorists of the detours and closures. Weather permitting, the intersection is scheduled to reopen Dec. 1.
