Temporary Lane Closure Scheduled for Sandbridge Road

Virginia Beach Public Works will temporarily close a portion of Sandbridge Road near Sandpiper Road on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. There will be a flagging operation in this location to maintain traffic both ways during the lane closure. This work is being completed in coordination with the Sandbridge Rd-Nimmo Pkwy Phase 7-A project, CIP# 100356.

Area residents and businesses will have access to their properties at all times. Advanced warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the work area.
