Subject Quickly Apprehended After Robbery

On September 13, 2022, at approximately 10:05 PM, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to a business in the 1000 block of Virginia Beach Blvd, for the report of a robbery

The initial investigation revealed an individual entered the business, demanded merchandise, and assaulted an employee before fleeing the scene. Responding officers identified the fleeing individual as the suspect and took him into custody without incident.

The suspect was identified as Raymond Mostella, (M/35) of Virginia Beach. Mostella was charged with Robbery and Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon.
