Smash & Grab Offense Lynnhaven Mall
​VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) detectives are alerting community members and retailers to a "smash and grab" larceny that occurred December 21, 2022, at about 1:17 P.M. inside the Lynnhaven Mall, 701 Lynnhaven Parkway.
Two male subjects entered a jewelry store, produced hammers, and smashed display cases before fleeing with several pieces of jewelry. Virginia Beach Detectives are working in conjunction with the Chesapeake Police Department to determine if an incident that occurred later in the day at Greenbriar mall is related.
