Homicide Investigation – Lone Holly Lane

On July 20, 2022, at approximately 12:28 AM, the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) received a Shot Spotter Alert in the 5600 block of Lone Holly Lane. VBPD officers assigned to the Third Precinct responded to the area and located two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Lifesaving efforts were made by officers with the assistance of Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The victim identified as, Jakhari Hall (M/19) of Virginia Beach, was transported to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The second male victim, age 18, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is said to be in stable condition.
