Fatal Crash Investigation – 800 block of Lynnhaven Parkway

​VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – On December 21, 2022, shortly after 5:14 PM crash investigators from the Virginia Beach Police Department’s (VBPD) Special Operations Bureau responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the 800 block of Lynnhaven Parkway.

Christopher Morrison (M/53) of Norfolk, was traveling northbound when his motorcycle impacted a vehicle entering Lynnhaven Parkway, crossing the northbound travel lanes. Morrison was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding EMS personnel. The next of kin have been notified.
