Emergency Water Main Repair Impacting Virginia Beach Boulevard Tonight
An emergency water main repair will result in lane closures on Virginia Beach Boulevard starting at 8 p.m. tonight, Sept. 28.
To safely facilitate this work, the two inside lanes of westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard between Aragona Boulevard and N Witchduck Road will be closed. The two left turn lanes of Virginia Beach Boulevard onto N Witchduck Road will also be closed. This repair is expected to be complete by 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, Sept. 29; weather permitting.
Warning signs will be placed advising motorists of the utility work and detour routes. For more information, contact Billy Chapman with Virginia Beach Public Utilities at 757-647-5234.
