Domestic Shooting Deaths

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – March 4, 2022, at approximately 1732 hours, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Douglas Court. Upon arrival, officers located a female with multiple gunshot wounds and a male with a single gunshot wound. Medical aid was rendered by the officers until both were transported to a local hospital.

The female was identified as Emily Icban, a 30-year-old from Chesapeake. The male was identified as Frederick Icban, a 47-year-old from Virginia Beach. Both were pronounced deceased after arriving at the hospital. Next of kin were notified for each person.
