Domestic Related Shooting Death
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – March 11, 2022, at approximately 2147 hours, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to a residence in the 4800 block of Crystalline Place for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male with multiple gunshot wounds inside the residence. Officers attempted to render medical aid to the victim, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene. A male suspect was located by officers and taken into custody without incident.
The male suspect was identified as Tyler L. Jenkins, a 26-year-old from Virginia Beach. He was charged with Second Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
The male victim was identified as Timothy Paul Talley III, a 28-year-old from California. Next of kin were notified for Mr. Talley.
