Climb Your Family Tree during “Moonlight Madness” at Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL)
Interested in starting or continuing your genealogy journey? Don't miss VBPL's Moonlight Madness, an evening of research, learning, and fun on Friday, Oct. 14, 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library. Enjoy after-hours access to VBPL's Edgar T. Brown Local History Archives and other local history and genealogy resources including Ancestry Library Edition, FamilySearch records, microfilm, and more. VBPL staff will be on hand to provide research assistance and short lectures on various local history and genealogy topics.
"Moonlight Madness is ideal for anyone interested in genealogy and local history to access the wealth of free resources available at VBPL while the library is closed, and to get one-on-one help from librarians and other staff," said VBPL Special Collections Librarian Amanda Wade.
Advance registration is required to attend Moonlight Madness. Space is limited, so visit VBPL's online calendar and reserve your spot today. Registration closes Sunday, Oct. 9.
