Building Dedication for New Virginia Beach City Hall to Take Place Oct. 19

The Virginia Beach City Council invites the community to a building dedication ceremony for the new Virginia Beach City Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. in the lobby of Building 1, 2401 Courthouse Drive. Following the ceremony, tours of the building will be available to the public.

The approximately 135,000-square-foot facility is located between former Building 1 and Building 2. With the move, the new City Hall has become Building 1 and assumed the address of 2401 Courthouse Drive. Former Building 1 will be redesigned and renamed Building 3. Its address will be 2403 Courthouse Drive. The estimated completion of the renovation is the spring of 2024.
