Arrest Made of Subject Involved in String of Thefts from Motor Vehicles

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – On Aug. 2, 2022, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department’s (VBPD) Second Precinct Crime Suppression Squad were working a special assignment to focus on the numerous larcenies from motor vehicle cases throughout the city, specifically the Ashville Park neighborhood where video captured armed individuals committing several theft offenses from unattended vehicles.

The other two suspects who were in the vehicle fled on foot and are still outstanding. Two illegally possessed firearms were recovered from the vehicle.
