Two City Council Members Hosting Separate Meetings Next Week

Councilmembers Remick and Taylor will hold events Nov. 9 and 10.

Councilmembers Worth Remick and Chris Taylor invite the public to attend their meetings next Thursday and Friday.

On Thursday, Nov. 9, Councilmember Remick will host a District 6 community meeting at First Colonial High School, 1272 Mill Dam Road. Residents will hear from City representatives from Parks & Recreation, Police/Animal Services and Public Works. Attendees will have an opportunity to have their questions addressed. The meeting will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. in the auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Councilmember Taylor invites Virginia Beach residents across the city to gather together with neighbors and friends to discuss community goals over a cup of coffee. This event is free and open to the public. It will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Smoothie Stop in Virginia Beach, 2836 Virginia Beach Blvd.

Coffee will be provided courtesy of Councilmember Taylor. No public funds used for refreshments.
