Seed Library

Plant a Seed

Spending time outdoors, getting your hands dirty in the garden and seeing new growth is so rewarding! VBPL can help every step of the way. Start with a visit to a Seed Library at the Central, Princess Anne or Kempsville branches. You can choose from a variety of flower, herb and vegetable seeds to take home and plant in your own garden. Need gardening tips? Browse the library’s catalog for books and resources, or drop in for a Seed Q & A with the Virginia Beach Master Gardeners.
