Building Toward Success: Minority Business Council Hosting Annual Conference Nov. 7

Business owners, procurement professionals, entrepreneurs and more are invited to attend the Virginia Beach Minority Business Council’s 25th annual Conference and Expo, 1-5 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The event is designed to ignite inspiration and provide education and one-on-one interactions with Hampton Roads resource partners. This year’s theme, “Building Toward Success: Navigating Challenges, Embracing Opportunities,” will touch upon the ups and downs of aiming to achieve business excellence. 

The event will feature keynote speaker Precious L. Williams, founder and CEO of the Pitch Perfect Group. She is a 13-time national elevator pitch champion, bestselling author, Top Fortune 100 corporate sales trainer and world-class speaker for several global brands including BMW, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Verizon, Harvard University, Columbia University and Spelman College, among others. With the Pitch Perfect Group, Williams coaches businesses and individuals to powerfully communicate their message to help excite, inspire and attract local clients and customers for life. 

Attendees can engage with a variety of exhibitors, including department representatives from the City of Virginia Beach, local, state and federal government entities, financial institutions, higher education institutions and local prime contractors and design firms to gain key connections.
