FREE 2024 Water Awareness Calendars Available

The 2024 Water Awareness Calendars are in! Published annually by Virginia Beach Public Utilities, the calendars feature illustrations by Virginia Beach elementary school students showing what they do to use water wisely. The calendar includes the important topics of backflow prevention; proper fat, oil, and grease disposal; water conservation; and what not to flush.

The calendar illustrations were chosen in a contest held earlier this year. Entries were judged by Public Utilities staff based upon best expression of theme, picture design, creativity, and artistic skill.

The colorful calendars are free and available to the public at all Virginia Beach library branches, recreation centers, and the Public Utilities Business Office located at 2809 S Lynnhaven Drive, Suite 250.

2025 Calendar Contest
