Celebrate Spring, Peace, and Goodwill at the 2023 Cherry Blossom Festival

Together with Virginia Beach sister city, Miyazaki, Japan, the Parks & Recreation Department invites you to celebrate the blossom season with a variety of programs that promote the rich culture and beauty of Japanese music and art.

A week-long schedule of festivities begins on March 25 at Red Wing Park including new activities, Japanese Garden tours, Kids Paint Nite and a coloring and activity book, plus cultural performances and martial arts demonstrations, StoryWalk® featuring Pinkalicious, limited edition t-shirts, and more!
