VPBD Investigates Motorcycle Fatal Crash on Independence Blvd

On September 18, 2023, at 09:47 AM, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of South Independence Boulevard and Dahlia Drive. Upon arrival, the motorcycle operator, Carlos Forbes (M/29) of Virginia Beach, was pronounced deceased.
