VBPD Welcomes Community Feedback with New My90 Tool
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Today Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) announced the launch of My90, a new community engagement tool from Axon. My90 is used to engage the public, collect confidential feedback, and improve outcomes following service calls.
The data VBPD receives with this tool will allow us to see the impact we are having and take appropriate action. My90 will provide community members a convenient option to provide valuable input while maintaining their privacy. With My90, VBPD will facilitate genuine community engagement to measure what is working well and what needs extra attention.
“I’m pleased to welcome My90 to our toolbox of technological resources,” said Police Chief Paul Neudigate. “This is investment is a demonstration of our commitment to community-oriented policing and data-driven practices. I’m excited to see what we learn with the feedback we garner with My90.”
“My90 is designed to help police departments take their approach to data, transparency, and public engagement to the next level,” says Kona Shen, Axon’s Vice President and General Manager of My90. “We are elated that Virginia Beach is launching My90 as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to community policing.”
Axon acquired My90 in 2021 as part of its mission to protect life, capture truth, and accelerate justice.
