VBPD Opens OfficerTRAK Portal to Streamline Hiring of Off-Duty Officers
In an effort to streamline the process of hiring off-duty officers for private work, the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) has opened a brand-new portal through Off Duty Management (ODM).
Eligible businesses and organizations can hire off-duty VBPD officers to work through ODM’s easy-to-use OfficerTRAK portal. OfficerTRAK allows users online access to job statuses and offers full liability coverage for the customer, agency, and officer.
“Off Duty Management’s OfficerTRAK platform is a welcome solution that benefits our officers, as well as the many businesses and organizations that rely on our officers to make their event a success,” said VBPD Police Chief Paul Neudigate.
Through OfficerTRAK, vendors will have a dedicated point-of-contact for scheduling, invoicing, and payroll. Vendors will also have access to customer support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Eligible vendors must register off-duty job postings through OfficerTRAK to open their posting to VBPD officers. To see if your business or organization is eligible, visit the VBPD website to see the eligibility criteria.
The Virginia Beach Police Department is committed to providing a safe community and improving the quality of life for all people. This is accomplished by delivering quality police services and enforcing laws with equity and impartiality.
In partnership with our community members, organizations, and partners, VBPD reduces crime through public education, prevention, and awareness. In meeting this objective, the Department demands of its officers the highest professional standards and dedication to its core values.
