VBPD Arrests Suspected Serial Burglar

The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) has arrested and charged Kenneth Pride Jr. (M/56) in connection with three separate burglaries.

VBPD detectives have identified Pride as the suspect in the following burglaries:

•     May 29, 2024 in the 100 block of S. Lynnhaven Rd.

•     May 6, 2024 in the 700 block of Independence Cir.

•     March 15, 2024 in the 400 block of Viking Dr.

Pride is charged with 14 felony counts of Entering a Building at Night With Intent to Commit Larceny, three felony counts of Possession of Burglarious Tools, one felony count of Credit Card Larceny, one felony count of Monument Damage Greater Than $1000, and three misdemeanor counts of Petit Larceny.

Pride was apprehended on June 7, 2024.
