VBPD Arrests One in Hampshire Lane Shooting

Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) officers responded to Norfolk General Hospital on May 19, 2024 at 1:11 a.m. for an adult male patient with a gunshot wound. The victim informed VBPD detectives that he had been shot on the 5700 block of Hampshire Ln. around midnight.

Following a thorough investigation, detectives obtained Felony warrants on Mario Feather (M/58) of Virginia Beach for Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Discharge of a Firearm in a Public Place. Feather was apprehended on June 10, 2024.
