Utility Work to Impact First Colonial Road Thursday Night

Utility work will result in the closure of a portion of First Colonial Road at 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.

To safely facilitate this work, the inside lane of southbound First Colonial Road will be closed between Laskin Road and the I-264 overpass. The inside lane of northbound First Colonial Road between Virginia Beach Boulevard and the I-264 overpass will also be closed. Area residents will have access to their properties at all times. This work is expected to be completed by 5 a.m. the following morning, Nov. 11; weather permitting.
