Two Subjects Arrested in Fraudulent Purchases of Motor Vehicles

On August 31, 2022, at approximately 9:14 PM, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the 3800 block of Bonney Road for the report of two females fraudulently attempting to purchase a vehicle.

The investigation revealed the subjects were using false information to purchase a motor vehicle. The two females had been previously involved in another fraudulent purchase at the same location. Officers took both suspects into custody without incident.

The suspects were identified as Alexis Williams (F/22), and Natasha Reaser (F/24), both of Norfolk, VA. Williams was charged with Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses, Attempt to Obtain Money Under False Pretenses, and two counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. Reaser was charged with Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses, Attempt to Obtain Money Under False Pretenses, two counts of Identity Theft, and two counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.
