Temporary Road Closure Scheduled for Sandpiper Road

Virginia Beach Public Works will temporarily close the southbound lane of Sandpiper Road near Porpoise Lane on Monday, July 31, and Tuesday, Aug. 1, to install an ADA ramp at the crosswalk. Work will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. There will be a flagging operation in this location to maintain traffic both ways during the lane closure.
