Temporary Road Closure Scheduled for Elbow Road June 22

​Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation will conduct tree and vegetation trimming on Elbow Road Thursday, June 22. Weather permitting, work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

During this time, Elbow Road will be closed to through traffic between Round Hill Drive and Margaret Drive. Through traffic will be detoured via Round Hill Drive, S. Independence Boulevard, and Salem Road. Advanced warning and detour signs will be posted advising motorist of the alternate route.
