Public Works to Host Public Meeting for Lake Bradford/Chubb Lake Stormwater Pump Station

Virginia Beach Public Works will hold a public meeting for the Lake Bradford/Chubb Lake Stormwater Pump Station (CIP 100595) project. It will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Bayside Recreation Center, 4500 First Court Road.

This meeting will be informal and open to the public, beginning with a presentation during the first 30 minutes from Public Works representatives. The proposed improvements associated with the project are part of the City of Virginia Beach's Flood Protection Program (the "Ripple Effect") Bond Referendum approved in November 2021. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and will be asked to provide feedback.
