Virginia Beach Annual State of the City Address to be Livestreamed Online

Today, Virginia Beach Mayor Robert M. "Bobby" Dyer and City Manager Patrick Duhaney will deliver the annual State of the City address at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19^th St. The event is the first in a series of five sponsored by the Hampton Roads Chamber.

This year's presentation will be live-streamed online at virginiabeach.gov, www.VBgov.com/media and facebook.com/cityofvabeach at approximately 12:30 p.m.

In celebration of Virginia Beach's 60^th anniversary, the talk will focus on "The Next 60 Years and Beyond." The presentation will highlight major city initiatives, and key business happenings, recognize several organizations, and new event announcements, and provide a look forward for the city.

The State of the City address is scheduled to be rebroadcast on Cox Channel 48 and Verizon Channel 45, beginning Sunday, March 19.
