Fatal Pedestrian Crash – 3900 block of Virginia Beach Blvd.

On January 12, 2023, at 5:48 P.M., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the report of a pedestrian struck in the 3900 block of Virginia Beach Blvd.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was walking northbound across the westbound lanes of traffic on Virginia Beach Blvd. when he stepped into the path of a vehicle. Gregory Campbell (M/60) of Virginia Beach was transported to Virginia Beach General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
