Virginia Beach Public Works is developing a citywide Local Road Safety Action Plan (LRSAP), which will be a document that provides a basis for systemic safety improvements along the city’s roadway network.

The City plans to host its second active community meeting to share findings, countermeasure identifications, and safety strategies developed through a data-driven, equitable approach after analyzing the results of Community Meeting #1.

The meeting will be held in the Libris Meeting Room at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library.

A virtual component will be open after the in-person meeting at virginiabeach.gov/vbsafetyplan. Residents can provide comments through April 12.
