IGNITE Business Series

The next IGNITE Business Series event, "Growing Business in the Beach," is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19^thSt. Hosted by Councilmember Sabrina Wooten, attendees can hear from a panel of subject matter experts on topics such as:

• Professional Brand Tips
• Business Beyond the Pandemic
• Emerging Entertainment Business Growth

Economic Uplift Capital Accelerator Program

Applications are now accepted for the second session of the Economic Uplift Capital Accelerator (EUCA), an eight-week program designed to catalyze growth and strengthen business models for entrepreneurs, with a special focus on minority, women and service-disabled veteran entrepreneurs.

Sponsored by the City’s SWaM Business Office and The HIVE, EUCA has provides valuable resources to participants in the areas of business formation, marketing, and wealth building, along with an abundance of networking opportunities.
