New Great Neck Indoor Pavilion Open for Rentals

Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation cut the ribbon on a new indoor pavilion last month, and the facility is ready to book rentals for weddings, holiday parties and more.

The new venue, at 2513 Shorehaven Drive in Great Neck Park, features a 5,000-square-foot flexible indoor event space for up to 120 people, a catering kitchen and an outdoor patio area. The pavilion is a short walk from an outdoor gazebo with views overlooking the Lynnhaven Bay.

“This is the first indoor, year-round, dedicated event space in our park system, but it won’t be the last.” said Michael Kirschman, Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation director. “As well as providing an ideal venue for wedding receptions and business meetings, we’ll be able to use this space for indoor programs like yoga or even council retreats. It’s going to get a lot of use!”

Current rental rates are the following:

• Half-day rentals, up to four hours:
  • $350 Monday through Thursday
  • $700 Friday through Saturday
• Full-day rentals, up to eight hours:
  • $700 Monday through Thursday
  • $1,400 Friday through Saturday
