Mayor’s Commission on Aging Fall Education Forum

  • Fall risks and prevention
  • Panel discussion on Medicare, Medicaid, and veteran benefits

Goals

  • ​Review the nature and priorities of needed services necessary for seniors.

  • Work with other agencies, committees, and commissions throughout the region who address these same issues.

  • Provide public information, as well as legislative and educational efforts.

  • Represent the Mayor's Office throughout the community, as directed by the mayor.

  • Assist in identifying and defining the needs of seniors.

The Mayor's Commission on Aging compiles information for the Senior Housing & Resource guide to help connect residents to a variety of resources in the community. The latest edition is up-to-date as of May 2024.
