VBPD Responds to Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Princess Anne Rd.
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, April 30, 2024 – On April 29, 2024, at 10:45 p.m., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to an accident involving a motorcycle in the 1500 block of Princess Anne Rd.
First responders arrived on scene and found Ryan May, (M/42) of Knotts Island, NC, critically injured. May was later pronounced deceased on scene.
VBPD investigators determined that May and another motorcyclist were traveling southbound when May lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. There are no charges anticipated in this incident.
